Doing Good Well’s Kensington Health and Housing Collaborative Partners and Staff Members

Doing Good Well launched the Kensington Health and Housing Collaborative in 2025 bringing together six Kensington based community leaders and organizations to focus on trauma-informed housing solutions and stability. As of March, the Collaborative had completed its early structuring and planning phase and moved into the execution phase of its multi-year programming.

The theory of change of collective impact meets the reality of meaningful and enduring outcomes through the work of our partner organizations and their talented and engaging staff who bring specific programmatic initiatives to life. The Workforce Development Manager at New Kensington CDC, a Doing Good Well funded position takes a trauma-informed, neighborhood-based approach to improving economic stability for residents in Kensington. This role helps implement community-identified priorities from the Co-Creating Kensington process by coordinating workforce strategies across partner organizations, including Doing Good Well and the Kensington Collaborative pilot.

Emma Bullock

In her role as Workforce Development Manager, Emma Bullock connects residents to job training, employment resources, and supportive services, and ensures these efforts align with broader strategies addressing trauma and housing instability. In partnership, and with support from the other Collaborative members and staff, this role advances residents’ access to stable employment and contributes to long-term community well-being. Tracking and referral processes are being implemented to ensure that short-term and longer-term outcomes are being advanced.

A proud alumna of Eastern University, Emma brings expertise in CRM systems, case management coordination and community-centered program design together with compassion and a deep commitment to service-driven leadership.

Successful collaboration requires well informed and engaged donors – it also requires great partners with talented and engaged staff, like Emma. At Doing Good Well, we are humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to work with both groups within this Collaborative in service to the residents of Kensington.
